About This Program
This program supports families impacted by caregiver substance use by focusing on stability, recovery, and child safety. We work alongside treatment providers and families to strengthen routines, reduce risk, and promote long-term success through coordinated, in-home support.
Who This Program Serves
DCF-involved families in which a caregiver is in active substance use treatment—inpatient or outpatient—or in recovery. We support whole-family stabilization alongside clinical treatment.
What We Provide
Services are flexible and responsive to each family’s level of need and stage of recovery.
- Weekly In-Person Contact
Minimum weekly sessions, with added capacity as clinically indicated. - Co-Occurring Disorders Support
Trained in substance use plus mental health: mood, PTSD, psychotic. - Recovery & Safety Focus
Supports recovery plans, relapse prevention & safety planning. - 2-Hour Emergency Response
Master’s-level on-call support for DCF emergencies.
